Synopsis:
Set in post-WWII Venice on All Hallows' Eve, the film follows the celebrated sleuth Hercule Poirot. The now retired and living in self-imposed exile Poirot reluctantly attends a party at a haunted palazzo when one of the guests is murdered, and the former detective must once again find out who did it.

(10/10/22) Based on Agatha Christie's book "Halloween Party," production of the supernatural thriller film A Haunting in Venice will begin in November, with filming locations including Pinewood Studios in London and location work in Venice. British actor and filmmaker Kenneth Branagh, who directed and starred as Hercule Poirot in the mystery drama adaptations of Christie's Murder on the Orient Express (2017) and Death on the Nile (2022), will be directing and returning in the lead role as detective Poirot. The film is set to release in 2023.
