Michelle Yeoh will return as Captain/Emperor Georgiou, who is now an operative for Section 31: the Federation's clandestine black-ops branch. ("Don't you bow?" Yeoh asked, as Romijn introduced her.) Yeoh is thrilled about getting the chance to play a character who's a very different from both the straight-laced captain and the power-hungry emperor.

"[Secton 31 Georgiou is] manipulative, devious, sexy. We're in leather all the time," said Yeoh. "I'm loving every minute of it... I have a lot more fun playing this character. She's not a monster. There's a deep seed of humanity inside her."

- "Michelle Yeoh" scam - BEWARE! A fan alerted me that she received a message from "Michelle Yeoh" via Facebook Messenger. After some nice chat, the "Michelle Yeoh" offered some gifts from her as her way of honoring some "long time faithful fans" and eventually asked for a big gift delivery fee.... For anyone who doesn't know, Facebook's messaging service has big flaws which make it very easy for someone to pretend to be someone else (there have been many cases of fake accounts of celebrities attempting to rip off unsuspecting fans). It didn't help that for quite a while there was no way to report such fraud (I believe Messenger finally released a tool to report fake accounts, in May).
