Michelle was on the jury panel for the competition films at Cannes Film Festival 2002. Other jury members were Regis Wargnier (French director), Claude Miller (French director), Raoul Ruiz (Chilean director), Sharon Stone (American actress), Christine Hakim (Indonesian actress), Bille August (Danish director) and Walter Salles (Brazilian director). The president of the jury was American director David Lynch.
